SANS Brussels 2015 offers courses covering penetration testing, forensics, and incident handling

The 6-day SANS training event will contain a programme of evening talks and networking opportunities

Registration has opened for SANS Brussels 2015, which will host four essential information security training courses at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel from Monday 26 to Saturday 31 January 2015. SANS’ 6-day training event held in the heart of Brussels will also contain a programme of evening talks and networking opportunities with SANS Instructors and industry leaders. Early registration discount for courses running at SANS Brussels 2015 is available until 10th December 2014.

SANS Brussels 2015 offers courses covering penetration testing, forensics, and incident handling and includes SANS’ new course SEC511: Continuous Monitoring and Security Operations.

The new SEC511 course looks at a number of emerging areas such as Defensible Security Architecture, Network Security Monitoring (NSM)/Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM)/ Continuous Security Monitoring (CSM). The practical course taught by co-author and SANS Principal Instructor Eric Conrad aims to best position an organisation or Security Operations Center (SOC) to analyse threats and detect anomalies that could indicate cybercriminal behaviour. Other courses on offer include:

  • SEC504: Hacker Tools, Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling
  • SEC642: Advanced Web App Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking
  • FOR508: Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response
