STANLEY will demonstrate PAC access control systems and GDX door entry systems at IFSEC 2014

STANLEY Security, one of the leading security providers in Europe, will be displaying an extensive range of new electronic and mechanical security systems and products from its comprehensive product portfolio at this year’s IFSEC, 17-19th June at Excel, London, stand no. G1875 in Hall 9.

Access control systems from PAC® will feature prominently on the STANLEY Security stand at IFSEC. The PAC product range has been designed to cater for organisations of all sizes, whether you require a single door application or an integrated web based global system.

New to the PAC range and on show for the first time is an HF Vandal Resistant reader capable of reading both classic Mifare and DESFire EV1 credentials for maximum flexibility.

The latest software version (V4.5) of PAC SecureNet™ will be live on the stand integrated with a range of STANLEY equipment to demonstrate its ability to manage access whilst providing high security through advanced alarm management.

One of the new key products we will present is PAC EL™ Smart Door Handle, which we will preview at IFSEC. PAC’s new high quality stainless steel Smart Door Handle is designed to be simply retrofitted on internal doors and can be used in combination with existing or new mechanical mortise locks, providing reliable and cost-effective control of doors. The PAC EL Smart Door Handle is battery powered, eliminating the need to run cabling to each door and is available in standalone and encrypted wirelessly-networkable configurations that links through STANLEY’s Gateway to control access to doors. All the user details are stored locally on the secure side of the door meaning the lock will continue to operate regardless of connection to the configuration PC. The wireless version of the PAC EL Smart Door Handle will be fully integrated into our PAC SecureNet software to demonstrate the full capabilities and benefits of networking the units.

A complete Door Hardware range from STANLEY Security, including door closers, magnetic locks, mortise locks, euro profile cylinders, door handles, security door closers and glass hinges will also be on show.

SecureNet will also be integrated with STANLEY biometric systems: the EyeLock Eyeswipe Nano iris reader and the Ievo Ultimate fingerprint reader. EyeLock detects up to 2,000 points within the iris whilst simultaneously employing a ‘life verifier’. Extremely reliable, it has an error rate of just one in 300 million per eye and, with a reader capable of scanning up to 50 people in motion per minute at a distance, is extremely fast. Ievo Ultimate fingerprint reader features a durable ergonomic design, exceptional reliability in reading prints, plus a robust exterior to negate the effects of vandalism, spoof fingerprints and harsh weather conditions.

Pacom® Systems from STANLEY Security will also play a prominent role on the IFSEC stand this year. Pacom works with leading organisations to develop integrated enterprise security systems that are cost-effective and flexible, delivering unrivalled reliability and functionality.

Pacom Unison, a “Next Generation” open, integrated security management platform will be displayed. Designed and engineered for ease of use, Unison allows for simple integration of a wide range of systems – including intrusion detection, access control, fire detection, CCTV etc. - from different manufacturers, from a single intuitive user interface.

In addition, the Pacom GMS (Graphical Management System) modular client-server application for remote management of multiple sites, plus the award winning Pacom 8002 Controller will be on show. The 8002 is a hybrid dual-Ethernet controller that performs access control, intrusion alert, communication and acts as a gateway for many third party applications and devices; at IFSEC it will be demonstrated in connection with the Eyelock Eyeswipe Nano biometric reader.

Lastly, STANLEY will also be proudly exhibiting its bestselling GDX Door Entry systems, which are used throughout the UK within the public and private housing sectors. From simple low cost systems to PC based touch screen integrated control systems, GDX has been designed by STANLEY to be fully scalable and backward compatible. Both video and audio only systems will be displayed, along with the GDX5 concierge system. Integrated in to the door entry panel is the new PAC Panel Mount Reader which is capable of reading both classic Mifare and DESFire EV1 credentials.
