The new office underscores VidSys’ commitment to its substantial existing business and ongoing rapid growth |
VidSys, a leading global provider of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, recently announced its establishment of a new VidSys regional headquarters office in Dubai, UAE. The office is led by Philip Stockham, VidSys Director for EMEA Operations, and includes a team of senior sales executives, product engineers and program managers.
Located in Swiss Tower, within the Jumeirah Lake Towers in the Dubai Free Trade Zone, the new office underscores VidSys’ strong commitment to its substantial existing business and ongoing rapid growth in the region, particularly in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, the political and economic union bordering the Arabian Gulf, consisting of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
VidSys entered the Middle East market in 2010 in Abu Dhabi. Today the company has numerous deployments in the GCC states, including central and local government agencies and commercial firms with critical infrastructure assets, particularly in law enforcement, manufacturing, transportation, financial services and large-scale event management. VidSys partners supporting distribution and integration of the VidSys software platform include both deeply experienced local firms and leading international firms operating in the GCC states.
“For both public agencies and private sector firms, the Middle East today is a centre of extraordinary innovation and investment in technologies to improve security and operational efficiency,” said Michael P. Jackson, Chairman and CEO of VidSys, Inc. “VidSys is proud to support world-class projects across the region. Expanding the VidSys team and creating this regional headquarters in Dubai underscores our long-term commitment to support our Middle East customers and partners.”
Headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, VidSys provides a transformational Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software platform used to run operations centres for public sector agencies and leading enterprise organisations globally. The platform continuously fuses and instantly correlates vast amounts of data gathered from any number or virtually any type, brand or generation of physical security system or sensor, as well as from networked management applications.
The result is actionable intelligence that empowers decision makers from a single organisation or multiple entities – however geographically dispersed – to collaborate in real time. By leveraging mobile devices, the software also provides instant situational awareness and mission-critical intelligence to first responders, senior executives or other authorised parties.
