Intercede, Hirsch Electronics and Ultra Electronics are pleased to announce a major technology partnershipIntercede, a leading developer of powerful smart card and identity management software, Hirsch Electronics, a leading provider of physical security management systems and Ultra Electronics, the manufacturer of Magicard secure ID card printers, are pleased to announce a major technology partnership.

This partnership will enable any organisation or Government agency to enhance efficiency, increase security and reduce costs by consolidating multiple identity and security credentials onto a single device which enables employees to securely access both physical and logical resources.  This technology partnership integrates Intercede's MyID® smart card and identity management system with Hirsch's Velocity physical access control system (PACS) and Magicard printers.  Using MyID as the central enrolment, issuance and management system, any organisation or Government agency can immediately start issuing and managing converged identity badges in a single issuance process.

In a single workflow and in a single pass, MyID pushes the required identity information into the Hirsch Velocity physical access server while at the same time encoding the relevant identity credentials and printing graphical information onto a smart card using a Magicard printer.

Intercede and Hirsch will be demonstrating physical/logical interoperability on the Hirsch booth #26049 at ISC West in Las Vegas, March 28-30, 2007.
