Integrating EasyLobby SVM into the Security Commander platform adds advanced visitor management capabilities
Interlogix will resell HID Global's EasyLobby SVM software

HID Global, a worldwide leader in secure identity solutions, recently announced that it has partnered with Interlogix to deliver integrated security solutions spanning intrusion detection, access control and visitor management. Interlogix, a leading provider of security and life safety solutions for both residential and commercial applications, will also resell HID Global’s EasyLobby Secure Visitor Management (SVM™) software in Australia and New Zealand as part of a complete security and visitor management solution including the Interlogix Challenger security system hardware offering.

“This seamlessly integrated solution gives our customers best-of-breed visitor management capabilities that are fully integrated with our highly-scalable multi-site Security Commander application for Interlogix Challenger security system management,” said Chris Cunnington, product manager, Interlogix. “We now offer solutions for everything, from visitor management to Challenger system panel management, alarm monitoring, video management, access control badge/user management, system device monitoring, access monitoring and comprehensive reporting.”

Interlogix’s Security Commander can support up to 128 Challenger panels, more than 6,000 intelligent doors and 32,000 alarm points. The performance and reliability of the Interlogix Challenger panels has been proven across more than 90,000 units that have been shipped and installed in the commercial sector throughout Australia and New Zealand.  Integrating EasyLobby SVM into the Security Commander platform adds advanced visitor management capabilities, including visitor registration, tracking and reporting, badge printing, asset and package management, web-based pre-registration and employee/contractor time and attendance functionality.

“The integration of HID Global’s EasyLobby SVM with the Interlogix Security Commander platform enables Interlogix to offer a complete, field-proven hardware and software set of  solutions for visitor management as well as their access control, intrusion detection and video solutions,” said Howard Marson, vice president and general manager with EasyLobby, an HID Global business. “In addition, our partnership with Interlogix allows them to be a valued EasyLobby SVM reseller partner.”

With EasyLobby SVM, Interlogix customers will be able to quickly and easily grant proximity card or barcode access to visitors or contractors without requiring lobby attendants to interface with the access system. They also will be able to issue different levels of access to visitors, contractors and employees from the EasyLobby SVM visitor station. At the time of badging, all key information is automatically passed from the SVM database to the Security Commander database, and the proximity card or barcode is activated in real-time. When visitors check out of EasyLobby, the Security Commander system is immediately notified and the card is deactivated.

The HID Global EasyLobby suite of products provides comprehensive, enterprise-class visitor registration, tracking, reporting and badge printing, as well as web-based pre-registration and employee/contractor time and attendance. Proven across diverse applications, EasyLobby SVM offers the industry’s most affordable, feature-rich, customisable, and easy-to-use visitor management solution, including software, hardware peripherals and badge stock. EasyLobby is also tightly integrated with over 40 of the most popular access control systems.
