David Chevrel, Sales Manager, Cashless Payment at HID
New addition addresses HID Global's dedication to Cashless Payment

HID Global, the trusted worldwide leader in providing solutions for the delivery of secure identity, today announced the appointment of David Chevrel as Sales Manager, Cashless Payment, responsible for France, Spain, Portugal and Italy, reporting to David Franklin, Sales Director EMEA, Cashless Payment. In his new role, Chevrel will mainly focus on innovative card and reader board technology solutions for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC), vending, contactless payment, and loyalty and converged card applications.

With more than 15 years of experience in the smart card and payment industry, Chevrel has significant knowledge of the secure transaction industry, having joined HID Global from Aconite Technology, where he was a key consultant on card issuers' migration to chip and personal identification number (PIN) technology. Prior to that, Chevrel was a project manager for Ingenico, where he delivered and implemented a 6,000-EFTPOS terminal project for use in national elections. With a proven multinational background in commercial negotiation and multi-cultural mediation, Chevrel's sophisticated approach to sales is a definite asset.
