HID Global, a leading manufacturer in the access control industry, today announced that it will be exhibiting a large offering of products at the IFSEC exhibition at NEC Birmingham UK, from 21st-24th May, 2007.  At the event, visitors to the HID Global stand can meet HID EMEA's recently appointed Managing Director Anthony Ball, and view presentations by Keith Chapman, HID Global's Card Services Manager, demonstrating card printing features like UV ink, micro fine printing and holograms to enhance the security of a personalised card.

Launched at ISC West in Las Vegas in March, the new Edge™ family of IP-based access control solutions will be demonstrated by HID's Networked Access Solutions group.  The award-winning stand-alone, single-door IP-based access control solution, EdgeSolo, will be presented by Simon Barnes, HID Global's director of Networked Access Solutions EMEA.

The HID Connect PartnerTM Program will also sponsor a development partner pavilion displaying applications developed for access control, network security, secure printing, cashless vending, mobile applications, pull printing and long-range reading.

Fargo Electronics, part of HID Global, will be showing their recently released HDP5000 card printer, the central component of a complete card identity system.

Products from Integrated Engineering's flexible platform of MIFARE based readers, the latest addition to the HID Global family, will also be on display on the HID stand for the first time, demonstrating HID Global's response to the growing market need for 13.56 MHz technology products.

In addition to the exciting new offerings, HID's core products--access control cards and readers--will also be on display, including leading 13.56 MHz iCLASS® and FlexSmart® MIFARE credential and reader products and 125 kHz HID and Indala® proximity products.
