Suppliers of software platforms will be able to incorporate video that is recorded on Wavestore devices |
It may not yet be ratified, but
Wavestore customers can be assured that they are working closely with other
ONVIF Profile G developers to ensure they can pass on all the benefits of the specification that covers the storage, search, retrieval and playback of video on clients that support recording capabilities and on-board storage. ONVIF encompasses devices ranging from cameras and encoders to network video recorders (NVR) and client systems such as video management systems, building management and physical security information management (PSIM) solutions.
Wavestore is a member of ONVIF and achieved Profile S compliance last year making use of a vast range of IP cameras even easier than before. With the forthcoming Profile G, suppliers of software platforms for Access Control systems, Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) Remote Video Response Centres (RVRCs) and many others, Wavestore be readily able to incorporate video that is remotely recorded on a Wavestore based recording solution.
