HeiTel Digital Video GmbH, the well known German manufacturer of digital video transmission and recording equipment and developer of professional central monitoring software solutions, has constantly achieved about 70% of its last years turnover in market places outside of Germany, mostly within the European market and in South Africa.  To date, over 50,000 HeiTel systems are in use worldwide.  The US-American market will now be targeted as an additional, strategic market place for HeiTel products.

The newly founded HeiTel Digital Video USA Corp., with its headquarters in Maryland, USA, will start its marketing activities on the 1st of November 2008.  The majority shareholder of the US company is HeiTel Digital Video GmbH, located in Molfsee near Kiel, Germany.  Dirk Ostermann and Mathias Witt are additional shareholders for the US company, and will be running

operative business in the USA.  Dirk Ostermann (CEO) and Mathias Witt (CTO) have many years of experience in the field of professional CCTV.  They were previously the managing directors of the German subsidiary of the US Verint company.

The principle tasks for HeiTel Digital Video USA Corp. are the active sales support of the US-American distributors as well as the local technical support of central monitoring stations.
