Singer is directly responsible for marketing INSIDE Secure’s portfolio of mobile and networking embedded security solutions
Steve Singer will present "High Throughput, Low Latency Ethernet Security with MACsec"

INSIDE Secure, a leader in embedded security solutions for mobile and connected devices, recently announces that Steve Singer, VP of worldwide field applications engineering at INSIDE Secure, will be a featured speaker at the Ethernet Technology Summit being held April 29 – May 1 in Santa Clara, USA. Singer will present “High Throughput, Low Latency Ethernet Security with MACsec” on April 30 at 9:50am, as part of the Security Session.

“Ethernet communications are effectively protected from attacks through the MACsec industry standard security protocol,” said Steve. “The challenge for networking silicon and equipment vendors is to support MACsec security while meeting continually increasing throughput requirements.”

Drawing on his real world experiences with Ethernet communications, Singer will describe how MACsec is implemented to protect against security threats. Singer will also examine the interrelated roles of hardware IP and a MACsec software stack in achieving high throughput Ethernet security.

Mr. Singer began his embedded security career at SafeNet in January 2001 as a Staff ASIC Design Engineer where he worked on a development team responsible for building leading edge security processors. Today Mr. Singer directs a global team of Field Application Engineers and is directly responsible for pre-sales as well as supporting product management and marketing for the company’s portfolio of mobile and networking embedded security solutions
