International Security Safety Expo & Forum 2014 (ISF) - Thailand’s Leading Commercial & Homeland Security Exhibition - will offer major opportunities for security manufacturers
The inaugural event will feature both commercial and internal security products

The inaugural edition of ISF 2014 will be held on 4-7 November at IMPACT Exhibition & Convention Center Bangkok.

With a rising population that is ever more vulnerable, security has become a major factor in protecting Thai society and enabling the country to advance in peace and stability. The need to protect people as well as businesses and government offices from attack by terrorists, domestic crime and cyber criminals has become more urgent than ever.

International Security Safety Expo & Forum 2014 (ISF) - Thailand’s Leading Commercial & Homeland Security Exhibition - will offer major opportunities for security manufacturers. The inaugural event will feature both commercial and internal security products that have been specially designed for private companies along with state enterprises including airports, maritime facilities, borders, banks, retailers, schools, hotels and more.

ISF is fully supported by the Armed Force Security Centre, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Department of Corrections and the Royal Thai Police. The 2014 show will present unbeatable opportunities for manufacturers to promote their products and maximise business sources in Thailand.

The opportunities for security products in Thailand continue to grow with the government investing heavily in new systems, especially closed-circuit television (CCTV). Thailand is now one of the biggest security and safety markets in the region. And according to Mr. Hayden Hsu, Editor in Chief of A&S Publications, the Thai government's overall annual spending on security and safety products is estimated at US$70 million (Bt2.39 billion) and is expected to climb steadily. The government is expected to make huge investments updating airports, maritime ports and general infrastructure affecting tourism and retail sectors. This will create enormous business opportunities for security-service enterprises.

ISF 2014 is projected to host more than 200 exhibitors from 15 countries and will feature national pavilions from China, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan and numerous other countries. The exhibition will be trade-only and is set to be internationally recognised as a must- attend event for world leading companies. Over 8,000 quality trade visitors from both public and private agencies are expected to attend the premiere event.

General Sumpun Boonyanan (Former Minister of Defence, Kingdom of Thailand and Special Advisor) recently said, “The rise of threats has created the need to constantly evaluate security and safety measures. It is also the impetus behind a booming new industry that is largely dependent on science and technology. Exhibitors will be able to network with policy makers and buyers from both private and public agencies. With Thailand security market is booming, ISF is destined to become the best and most respected security event in Thailand.”

ISF 2014 is being held in conjunction with ASIAN DISASTER RISK REDUCTION EXPO 2014 (ADRE) a unique display of products and services featuring the latest rescue and disaster management systems and technology. The show creates an ideal platform to introduce new products to Thailand market.
