Xtralis demonstrates its Intelligent ADPRO PRO Passive Infrared Detector and VESDA ECO-EX Gas Detector at IFSEC 2013

Celebrating its 40th year, IFSEC International is the largest event for the security industry, bringing together the entire security buying chain in one place. The companion FIREX International 2013 show, supported by the Fire Industry Association (FIA) is one of the world’s leading fire safety events and the largest in the UK. Xtralis will exhibit its converged security and safety solutions at a single integrated stand in Hall 4, at stand position A10.

Xtralis will be demonstrating its unique capability to combine early and reliable detection of smoke, gas, and intrusion threats with remote visual verification for a total physical threat prevention strategy. The stand will feature an opportunity for show attendees to win £25,000 by participating in a ‘crack the vault competition.’ Application experts will give live demonstrations of the entire Xtralis portfolio for a variety of security & safety applications such as datacentre, retail, mobile, car dealerships, solar parks, and warehousing & logistics including a virtual central monitoring station. Xtralis will showcase two products which were shortlisted in the IFSEC & FIREX awards: the Intelligent ADPRO PRO Passive Infrared Detector was shortlisted for Intruder Alarm or Exterior Deterrent Product of the Year, and the VESDA ECO-EX was shortlisted for Fire Product Innovation of the Year.

Xtralis will also be featured in the IFSEC 2013 Intelligent Buildings Theatre on Thursday 16 May at 13:00. Kim Loy, General Manager, Xtralis Remote Monitoring will present, “Three Easy Steps Towards a Total Threat Prevention Solution.”  This session will explore the convergence of the life safety and security industries and the challenges and opportunities facing central monitoring stations, system integrators and installers.
