Connexion2 lone worker products will be showcased at IFSEC 2012 sposored by Connexion 2
Connexion2, leader in lone worker security and the developer of the multi-award winning Identicom lone worker device, has announced that it is sponsoring the new Lone Worker Protection Product Area, at IFSEC 2012 which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from 14th to the 17th May. As Identicom is the principal dedicated lone worker device in the UK, and is now available in an increasing number of markets around the world including the USA, Germany and Australia, Connexion2 was the obvious company to take on the sponsorship for this new and important addition to IFSEC International.

"Connexion2 has been a long-term supporter of IFSEC International and I am very pleased to secure it as the headline sponsor of the IFSEC's newest product area - Lone Worker Protection", said Peter Poole, IFSEC Event Manager. "The Lone Worker Protection Product Area will significantly raise the profile of this growing market sector by offering companies a clear identity at IFSEC.  We are delighted to be launching this new initiative with a leading supplier in Connexion2."

The new Lone Worker Protection Product Area, which contains a pavilion/seminar theatre, will showcase a range of lone worker products as well as providing visitors with interesting and diverse educational content around lone worker security. Located in Hall 3A, the Lone Worker Protection Product Area will provide vital education those operating in the UK security industry or abroad, and well as end users and employers.

"Millions of people in the UK are now working alone", says Craig Swallow, Managing Director of Connexion2.  "Lone workers exist in almost every business area including transport, utilities, housing, facilities management, retail and healthcare.  Connexion2 is delighted to be the inaugural sponsor of this important product area, which serves to raise the profile of lone worker within IFSEC international, showcases the importance of BS8484 within the UK, and the continuing interest in the lone worker industry globally."

In addition to its sponsorship of the new Lone Worker Product Pavilion, Connexion2 will also be exhibiting its range of BS8484 approved Identicom lone worker solutions on Stand 3/F32. Connexion2 supply solutions direct to market through the SoloProtect and indirectly through a network of authorised partners in the UK and beyond. Connexion2 is fully approved against BS8484 through audit and as such all solutions enable a guaranteed Police escalation where appropriate.
