Geoff Gerks brings expertise in occupational and environmental safety

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) announces the appointment of Geoff Gerks as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Gerks brings an extensive background in human resources, employee and labor relations with expertise in occupational and environmental safety.

Bringing more than 20 years in the field of recruiting and employee management, Gerks will focus on innovative ways to support our core value of Best People.

"I look forward to contributing to the success of the business," said Gerks. "I believe that the strategic vision of the company starts with employees who bring high levels of performance every day."

In addition to organisational leadership, Gerks will lead the further development of the training programs and curriculum at the G4S North American Training Institute (NATI - the only corporate university in the U.S. security industry.

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. has been recently honored by the industry-leading Training magazine, winning the Training Top 125 Award for the fifth year in a row for its security officer program. G4S was ranked among the best by a panel of industry experts. Training magazine is considered the leading business publication for learning and development and HR professionals.
