For customers involved in designing, using or assessing remotely monitored CCTV systems, a free seminar, 5 Steps for Effective Remote Video Monitoring, on 20th March in Glasgow will give valuable information and best practices to help you deter crime, reduce false alarms and comply with the BS8418 standard.

The seminar is hosted by Corps Security, Milestone, OPTEX, Raytec and Samsung. This half day event will encompass advice from the 5 security companies and independent security consultant Derek McDonald from D-Four Technical Services, on external detection, lighting, image quality, alarm and video transmission and remote monitoring.

The event is built around short presentations, live demo and break-out sessions and finishes with a networking buffet lunch and a tour of the Corps Security Remote Video Monitoring Station.
