Cobham Aerospace Communications has added new products to its Digital Audio Control System (DACS) family. The new AMU50-600 Audio Management Unit, the processing point for all operator audio, is designed with a mounting tray for easy installation and removal. When combined with the ACP53-600 Audio Control Panel with removable legends, Cobham’s Digital Audio Control System now has the option to fit into space-constrained locations on virtually any aircraft, giving installers the capability to customise and meet their varied vertical / horizontal orientation needs.

DACS is a rugged, configurable, compact, and lightweight communications management system with the capacity to distribute and control all audio in fixed- or rotor-wing aircraft, to and from all transceivers, receivers, and aural alert sources.
