More specialist IT expertise for Geutebruck network-based projects
Johannes Krings, IT project consultant at Geutebruck
Geutebruck has recently appointed Johannes Krings as its IT project consultant, a new post created in response to the increasing IT influence in the video security industry. Having joined Geutebruck in 2000 as their internal IT manager, Krings successfully steered the company towards the Microsoft Gold Partner status it achieved in early 2008. While retaining some duties as Microsoft MCTIP server and enterprise administrator, he will now direct much of his IT expertise and Geutebruck product knowledge towards providing specialist advice to colleagues and customers on the implementation of network based projects. His focus is particularly on network security issues and the introduction of new technology.

Commenting on this appointment, Carmen Lahr, Geutebruck marketing manager said: "This appointment strengthens our status as a professional security partner who is exceptionally well qualified for operating in the IT environment. The Gold Partner award put us in the top 2% of German Microsoft partners in any industry, and this appointment ensures that the special technical and business support we get from Microsoft and other IT sources will be translated efficiently into more innovation and better customer support."
