GeoVision is expanding its IP camera line with several new models including the Cloud Series. The cloud-centric surveillance and the wide range of model offerings bring IP surveillance to a new horizon.
GeoVision is dedicated in providing a unified platform for IP-based surveillance infrastructure. This effort actualised at ISC West 2014 with the presentation of four major themes, each in demonstration of state-of-art new products while all seamlessly unified across GeoVision's platforms.
Taking it to the cloud
Theme One is Next-Generation IP Camera, which featured GeoVision's cloud-centric surveillance infrastructure, the Cloud Series. Cloud Series delivers nearly all the features a small business may need in an IP-based surveillance installation. All models in the series support local as well as cloud storage at 1080p recording to provide compelling video quality. To meet the standards and requirements of various sites, the series offers a wide range of options, including popular models such as outdoor, indoor, night vision and Wi-Fi.
Super Low Lux sensor for low lights
Two new product series made debut at ISC West 2014. First is the Aurora Series with Super Low Lux sensor for visible video in dimly lit environments with minimum illumination of 0.01 lux, available in 1.3MP and 2MP (0.02 lux for 2MP). Second is the Target Series, which focuses on maximising the price-to-performance ratio to keep every installation in reach. As a technical achievement, GeoVision adds advanced function cameras to its wide variety lineup including 10MP Fisheye, IR Fisheye, Thermal, 30X IP speed dome, interchangeable lens UniCam, IP LPR camera with built-in recognition engine, WDR-enabled and motorised lens (remote zoom/focus) IP cameras.
A more unified vision of GeoVision VMS
Theme Two, Vision of Ubiquity, is an illustration of GeoVision empowering surveillance professionals with a seamless unified platform experience across every application, from large-scale to single installs. Featured in this section is GV-VMS, company's video surveillance management platform that supports up to 64 IP video channels, with the support to GPU decode function. Also featuring GV-Edge Recording Manager, which is a decentralised storage for more flexible recording, and GV-Recording Server which receives and records up to 128 channels of IP video. GeoVision also showcased its first Linux-based NVR, GV-SNVR, available in 4, 8, and 16 channels and records both in large and small stream with maximum 16 channels playback simultaneously.

At Theme Three the CMS section highlights GV-CMS on 4K monitor to deliver amazing overall video quality of multiple GV-VMS connected for a centralised perspective at 4K quality.
More integration, more solution
At Theme Four, Integrated Solution, there was a presentation of the retail solution including 3D people counter and GV-ANPR1200, the all-in-one LPR IP camera with built-in recognition function. Also demonstrated is the Access Control Solution, including elevator controller and IP fingerprint reader.
Gigabit PoE switches
Visitors of the Geovision booth were presented with PoE switches designed exclusively for IP surveillance. The selection ranges from 10/100Mbps to Gigabit, with 4, 8, 16, and 24 port models, allowing flexible wiring and providing sufficient power for IP cameras in an IP-based surveillance infrastructure.
