Jumbi Edulbehram will be responsible for sales, marketing and development activities in the Americas

Oncam Grandeye, the security division of Oncam Technologies, announced recently that it has selected Jumbi Edulbehram to succeed Graham Wallis as Regional President, Americas. He will be based in the company’s Lowell, Mass. office, responsible for sales, marketing and development activities in the Americas.

Before coming to Oncam Grandeye, he was in charge of business development for the physical security business of Samsung Techwin. In that position, he was responsible for managing strategic partnerships with technology partners, consultants/A&Es, and large national integrators. His was also responsible for developing new business and growing sales in industry segments such as retail, government and transportation.

Prior to Samsung Techwin, he served as Vice President of Business Development for Next Level Security Systems, a physical security company focused on developing a new breed of networked security solutions. Before Next Level, Jumbi was Director of Business Development at Axis Communications, where he was responsible for partnership programs, industry segments as well as the Axis’ Video Hosting System.

Preceding Axis, he was Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Business Development at IntelliVid, a provider of unique intelligent video analysis software for the retail market; IntelliVid was acquired by Tyco/ADT in 2008. Jumbi has also worked as a management consultant at BCG and as a senior chip design engineer at Intel Corp.

Jumbi has a bachelor’s degree from MIT, a master’s degree from the University of California, San Diego and a Ph.D. in Regional Economic Development from the University of California at Berkeley. “As we continue to evolve our technology, we’re especially pleased to have someone with Jumbi’s vast experience and knowledge on board,” said Firas I Bashee, Group CEO, Oncam Technologies. “I also want to thank Graham Wallis and confirm that he will continue to be an active member of the management team, an advisor, and will remain on the Executive team.”
