Interlogix, a leader in security and life safety solutions for residential and commercial enterprises, featured several recently-released products and showcased interactive services solutions in a realistic home environment at ISC West 2011 in Las Vegas. Interlogix is a business of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

Interlogix's residential intrusion products include the newest release of the GE Simon XT security system and wireless Two-Way Talking Touch Screen with interactive services. At booth 11087, customers had the opportunity to register for a live demonstration of these innovative products at Interlogix's "Interactive Home Experience" room.

"This interactive space gives customers a flavor of the new normal - where information and technology have converged in ways that touch every aspect of our lives - and where security installers must align their business for future success," states Bob Haskins, Vice President and General Manager for Interlogix.

Also on display was a new Wireless Carbon Monoxide Alarm that integrates quickly and easily with Simon XT and is an ideal fit for retrofit applications. Kirk MacDowell, residential sales leader states, "In response to new state carbon monoxide (CO) detection laws, the CO alarm helps maximise dealer's earnings and at the same time make customers' homes safer."

Additionally, Interlogix highlighted the latest video surveillance network offerings including a new line of TruVisionTM Megapixel IP cameras and the TruVisionTM DVR 60 H.264 Hybrid Digital Video Recorder.

"Our new megapixel camera range brings state-of-the-art, high-definition pictures to the mass video surveillance segment," says Kostas Mellos, sales leader video & transmission. "The new TVR 60 also delivers hybrid capability for easy migration from DVRs to NVRs - making it a good choice for those looking to move customers to an IP solution."
