Anixter created ipAssured to address the challenging and evolving business needs for both the end user and integrator
Anixter to present ipAssured Education Zone wherein experts offered presentations on leading industry trends

Anixter’s presence was strong this year at IFSEC 2012, the leading global annual security event. Not only Anixter delivered its IP Security Infrastructure Solutions presentation, it also partnered with UBM to present the ipAssured Education Zone. A first at IFSEC, the ipAssured Education Zone was an exclusive area where a team of experts offered presentations on leading industry trends.

With security and networking technologies continuing to converge onto an IP network, Anixter created ipAssured to address the challenging and evolving business needs for both the end user and integrator. Based on results from testing conducted in Anixter’s Infrastructure Solutions Lab, the programme offered the customer an open migration path that is both scalable and interoperable, which matches their varied life cycle requirements.

At this year’s event, Anixter announced the latest version of the programme that applies the same technology-driven, standards-based and best-practise approach to video surveillance.  Anixter’s programme, ipAssured Defining Network Video Migration supports current and future video surveillance applications, pairing technology to establish the best migration strategy.

Running May 14–17 in IFSEC’s educational zone, the ipAssured Education Zone allowed invitees the opportunity to discuss the latest in IP infrastructure and technology with the industry’s foremost technical experts.
