Gallagher's Asia sales team is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, group with a wealth of experience in the security industry

Gallagher's Vice President EMEA & Asia - Peter Francis added more staff to the Asian team

Gallagher's security business in Asia is thriving according to Vice President EMEA & Asia, Peter Francis, who this month added more staff to his continually growing team based in Asia. Globally recognised as a leader in the design and manufacture of innovative security solutions, Gallagher has been supplying the Asian market since the early 1990s. In 2011 the privately owned New Zealand company announced it would establish a permanent Asia-based team, with staff located in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.

According to Francis, over the 4 years since Gallagher introduced a local sales base in Asia, the team has grown by 300 percent. "Expanding the team is essential in order to keep up with the demand and growth of our business throughout Asia."

Asia sales team- comprises mix of local citizens

Comprising a mix of local citizens and New Zealanders, Gallagher's Asia sales team is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, group with a wealth of experience in the security industry. With business growth over multiple industries, the team is busy building partnerships across Asia and drawing on the knowledge and strength the company has gained from its established markets: New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. "This is a really exciting time for us," said Francis. "The Gallagher name is gaining a reputation in Asia for outstanding quality, service, and support, that's leading to more and more business opportunities for us throughout the region."

The newest members of Gallagher's sales team in Asia both join the main office in Hong Kong. Jin Hui joins the team as a Business Development Manager focused on the North Asia region, and Samuel Yan Sze Kit joins the team as a Technical Account Manager.

Globally, Gallagher's portfolio of access control and perimeter security products also continues to grow. With a current customer base of over 7,000 security customers worldwide, the company is primed to step in to an even greater role on the global security stage.
