TRANSEC will demonstrate the new features, benefits and attributes of Gallagher’s updated and recently launched products

TRANSEC is an ideal platform for Gallagher to display and discuss its current capabilities for the Transport security sector

Gallagher's unique, integrated approach to access control and perimeter security will be showcased at Transport Security EXPO (TRANSEC) from November 13-14th at Olympia, London. The event will demonstrate the new features, benefits and attributes of a number of updated and recently launched products, including; new functionalities for the renowned V7.10 Command Centre system, the K20 Tensioner Link System and the recently launched Z10 Tension Sensor System.

The V7.10 Command Centre system is the product of over half a century of Gallagher experience within the security sector. The system resides on an organisation's IT network and integrates electronic access control, intruder alarms supervision, perimeter security and compliance management in a single scalable platform, providing situational awareness together with comprehensive command & control. The benefits of such a system to the security sector are readily apparent; providing one single intuitive, streamlined and effective solution that minimises costs, can be easily maintained, and is managed from a central hub.

The system can also create re-usable reports within minutes, employing powerful but intuitive filters, to ensure that the right people receive the right information at the right time. This innovative feature facilitates audit trails, offers increased protection for valuable assets by increasing room security during unattended periods, and provides significant energy savings through the control of amenities (such as lighting) by matching operational use with a client's fluid scheduling demands.

Gallagher's stand will also showcase the recently introduced K20 Tensioner Link System; a perimeter fence hardware solution which offers improved performance and aesthetic appeal. The product has been developed as a response to the industry's demand for quicker installation, enhanced security and reduced maintenance costs. Additional characteristics include unparalleled durability - achieved through high quality materials and coatings - and the ability to retrofit the product with existing Gallagher electric security fences.

Also on display will be the recently launched Z10 Tension Sensor System. Designed to include a superior, intelligent, attack sensor, the Z10 system is fully integrated with the Gallagher Command Centre. It therefore overcomes the shortcomings of conventional taut wire technologies to provide an exceptional fence wire disturbance detection system that has been proven to significantly reduce false alarms.

In recognition of the innovative functionalities which the company's products enjoy, Gallagher has also been invited by the event's organisers to provide a keynote address on the show's opening day entitled: 'Extending perimeter security beyond the fence line'. Taking place in the 'Perimeter Security & Hostile Mitigation Workshop' from 11:10-11:35, the presentation will examine the impact of organisational health and safety requirements and the duty of care that businesses must provide their employees and visitors.

"Transec is an ideal platform for Gallagher to display and discuss its current capabilities for the Transport security sector", said Anna Greenhill, Gallagher's Global Marketing Manager, "The event will provide us with an ideal platform to showcase the company's extensive knowledge of the security market, its expertise in secure data management and systems integration, and the support of its certified channel partners".
