Available from UK/Ireland distributor Pyser-SGI Limited is the new Fujinon DV10x8SA-1/SA1 telephoto zoom for long range, high image quality surveillance. Introduced at IFSEC 2011, the new ½ inch format DV10x8SA-1/SA1 is the latest in the Fujinon DV Series of varifocal lenses designed to meet the needs of today's 1/3 and ½ inch format 3 megapixel C and CS mount cameras.

Employing Fujinon's Aspheric Technology (AT) the DV10x8SA-1/SA1 offers high quality optical performance, with clear sharp images - extending to the peripheral part of the lens. Moreover, the F1.4 maximum relative aperture ensures good viewing, even when lighting conditions are poor. A built-in ND filter extends the auto iris range to T360 for use with high sensitivity cameras.

Operational flexibility, from wide angle to distance close up shots, is provided by the 8 to 80 mm focal length, with iris control via the built-in DC auto iris system supporting DC controlled cameras. The lens features a rugged metal mount for high accuracy and durability, and locking screws are provided for zoom and focus settings. Like the other lenses in Fujinon's DV Series, the DV10x8SA-1/SA1 is a C mount lens; when used with a CS mount camera an adaptor ring is required.
