Keeneo has pioneered the development of premium video analytics software
The addition of Keeneo has provided Digital Barriers a centre of excellence for rapidly deployable video analytics
Since it was founded in 2005, Keeneo has pioneered the development of premium video analytics software. With its patented reasoning engine and 4D approach to analysis, Keeneo is achieving a level of detection accuracy that is setting new standards for event analysis. It has also delivered exceptional ease of use, through its rapid configuration, automatic mitigation of environmental conditions (such as weather) and open integration with leading video management systems. These operational benefits have led a number of leading organisations to deploy 4D video analytics and the Keeneo SafeZone solution for intrusion detection, including Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, Eurocopter, New Doha International Airport, Thales and Alcatel-Lucent.

With its recent acquisition by Digital Barriers in August 2011, Keeneo has become part of an international surveillance specialist with a growing portfolio of advanced solutions and capabilities. The addition of Keeneo has provided Digital Barriers with a centre of excellence for rapidly deployable video analytics, as well as commercial software engineering expertise and an experienced team of research and software engineers. Looking forward, this team will provide a depth of knowledge and technical leadership in real-time event detection, as well as expertise in the integration of video analytics into complete video surveillance solutions. To reflect this pivotal role within the business, Keeneo will become Digital Barriers | Solution Engineering. The Alarmes Protection Securite event in Paris, 20-22 September, marked this transition and provided an opportunity for customers and partners to find out more about Digital Barriers | Solution Engineering.

Digital Barriers | Solution Engineering will draw on the company's growing international presence to promote its solutions across a range of opportunities. It will also contribute to a range of sector-specific solutions, across the law enforcement, defence, transportation, and energy and resources sectors. These will combine the cutting-edge technology capabilities and operational know-how from Digital Barriers with selected best-of-breed products. Benoît Georis will continue to lead Solution Engineering in Sophia-Antipolis, working closely with other parts of Digital Barriers, including the company's regional business development teams.
