Next Level RMS 2.3 enables operators to set schedules, holidays, event types and risk levels across their entire enterprise
The NLSS Gateway Version 2.3 offers a host of additional features and system upgrades

Next Level Security Systems, a developer of a new breed of unified, networked security solutions, recently released the NLSS Gateway 2.3, the newest version of the award-winning NLSS Gateway that includes thepower of a customised management tool, and NextMobile, a mobile application that allows users to view and manage video on supported mobile devices. The unified solutions from Next Level is on display at booth # 24107 at the ISC West conference, March 28-30, 2012, in Las Vegas.

NLSS Gateway 2.3

The NLSS Gateway Version 2.3 offers a host of additional features and system upgrades. Users can group devices, users, cardholders and other assets such as floor plans or building layouts for a customised management tool. The system also allows the allocation of customised roles and permissions for different users to control system access levels. The 2.3 release includes enhanced system health monitoring, additional languages and 2nd generation face capture.

At its core, the NLSS Gateway is a unified security management platform that integrates networked video management, IP access control, video analytics and intrusion from the ground up. Its consolidated user interface, unique videosearch tools and simplified export of video evidence allow users to make more informed decisions while maximising their technology investments. Next Level Remote Management Services (RMS), a hosted service that enables the management of multiple NLSS Gateways across sites, can be added to the base package for enhanced mobility. RMS draws on improvements in cloud-computing technology to offer more than other hosted service models currently used in the security market.

Next Level RMS

The 2.3 version of Next Level RMS includes a grouping function to allow users to consolidate sites to create a comprehensive layered map or floor plan of their network of NLSS Gateways and their connected devices. Next Level RMS 2.3 also enables operators to set schedules, holidays, event types and risk levels across their entireenterprise. Other features include enhanced multi-site view and enhanced customer management tools for channel partners.

NextMobile

Next Level’s new mobile apps enable users to establish a secure connection to their NLSS Gateway platform or Next Level RMS to monitor live video streams on supported mobile devices. Customers who leverage mobile capabilities through Next Level RMS can access video transport controls, play recorded video and open specific access points, such as doors. The apps are currently available on Apple andAndroid devices.

“Next Level has unveiled an even stronger and more comprehensive suite of unifiedsecurity solutions that offer deeper functionality and flexible management options without compromising affordability,” said Peter Jankowski, Chairman and President, Next Level Security Systems. “We are excited to reveal our new solutions that allow users to be more informed of their evolving risk profile, while enabling integrators to tap into new opportunities for revenue growth.”

Based on open standards, the NLSS Gateway is part of a family of unified networked solutions including the NLSS HD Media Decoder, and a full line of NLSS Access Control edge devices, including access control panels, readers and card technologies. Next Level’s solutions also integrate with IP-enabled access control vendors, such as ASSA ABLOY, HID Global and Mercury, and industry leading brands of IP-based surveillance cameras.
