Azco Technologies Inc. recently released its Azco LightFence Perimeter Intrusion Detection at the 11th Annual Tri-Ed / Northern Video North American Sales Meeting.

The Azco LightFence Perimiter Intrusion Detection uses a plastic optical fiber (AzcoWire) to detect intrusions on mesh, chainlink and barbwire fences.  You fasten the plastic optical fiber (AzcoWire) to a ChainLink / Mesh Fence either with special bolts; then, you run the AzcoWire across the mesh and fasten them with a bend in between the poles.  Zero false alarms due to vibrations or winds: unlike microphone cables, plastic optical fiber (AzcoWire) only detects distortions caused by the intruder.  AzcoWire Plastic Optical Fiber that is Anti-UV for Outdoor installs and has an operating temperature of -40 to 85°C.

The controller offers 4 easy to adjust sensitivity levels and is in a IP66 rated enclosure.  One single controller device protects up to 820ft of linear fence, several controllers can be placed in line for larger projects and or to set zones.  An SD card in the controller keeps a record of all attenuation rates over the time and offers a normally closed relay, compatible with integration into any alarm set, DVR etc.

This solution is perfect for a wide range of applications: Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Building Sites: Anywhere you would have a fence is an opportunity for this solution.
