EverFocus will present its comprehensive product range geared to system integration at SECURITY Essen 2006.  While developing new products, EverFocus makes the combination of state-of-the-art technologies, reliability and ease of use first priority.

All digital video recorder models with MPEG-4 compression technology are equipped with programmable motion detection and Ethernet interface.  Fast MPEG-4 format network transmission, recording rates up to 400 IPS and several control facilities such as IR remote control, network or the RS-485 keyboard EKB 500 are just some of these devices' key features.

The 9- and 16-channel digital video recorders EDR920 and EDR1640 provide 4 additional matrix monitor outputs and integrated cascading function.  Furthermore, these two DVR types offer storage expansion to more than 11 terabyte through max.  48 optional, external hard disks.  The 4- and 8-channel devices EDR410H and EDR810H are also available for mobile applications (EDR410/810M).  The latest 16- and 9-channel devices EDR 1610 A&D and EDR 910 A&D are supplied with 1 built-in hard disk.  Additionally, the "D" models allow flexible data archiving through an internal DVD-RW drive.

Within the camera range, two different models of the day/night camera EQ550 POLESTAR are available with either fixed or automatically swivelling IR cut filter.  Both versions are equipped with 530 TV lines and built-in DNR (Dynamic Noise Reduction).  The "Polestar Experience" installation at SECURITY Essen allows visitors to the EverFocus stand to discover the benefits of this camera series.

The next generation of the EverFocus application software "PowerCon" also will be presented during SECURITY Essen.

PowerCon 4.0 is backwards compatible to all existing EverFocus EDR and EDSR series digital video recorders and also integrates the latest MPEG-4 EDR series DVRs and network cameras (e.g. EAN600).  Both cameras and freely programmable camera views can be accessed by mouse-click either via the explorer or through a flexible graphic user interface with unlimited levels.  PowerCon 4.0 is a multiscreen solution allowing the user to further access the graphic interface, while the video images are displayed in separate screens.  Multisite administration enables the display of maximum 64 (4x16) different camera images from different digital video recorders, network cameras and locations - subject to the client server providing sufficient performance.  PowerCon 4.0 offers the remote archiving, printing and exporting of video images.  Furthermore, remote configuration of both the MPEG-4 digital video recorders and the network camera EAN600 are provided.  If necessary, user rights may be assigned down to camera level.  The PowerCon 4.0 add-on program "System checker" checks the functionality of all configured systems at user-definable intervals and thus enables consistent surveillance.  DVR network alarm receipt is provided by the integrated alarm receiver working independently of the PowerCon main application.  And finally, PowerCon 4.0 also supports the start of external programs via both the explorer and the GUI.

All current and future product developments are presented on EverFocus stand 114 in hall 2 during SECURITY Essen.
