The Taiwan national Freeway Police bureau services are designed for the citizen's safety. Due to the municipalities there was a need to improve the achievements in gathering the evidence, and to introduce a GPS system that could pinpoint exactly where the police patrol car was and work out who would most need assistance.
Solution
A major police authority in Taiwan selected EverFocus Mobile Networking DVRs(EDR810M) and Security Digital Cameras (ED300), 5.6" LCD monitor (EN200) for complete video and audio surveillance for its police duty in the freeway. Beside the quakeproof and temperature controller, EverFocus utilised the EDR810 DVR connections in Everfocus ED300 cameras with the GPS system to integrate the driving record internal of the police patrol car in freeway. In order to recognise the incident when it happened, the GPS system integrated by EDR 810M does not only record the traffic accident and illegal acts of drivers in the freeway, but also the situation between the police and populace in effect. Those records become evidence in the future if necessary.
