LILIN encoders can effectively distribute video through digital signage monitors
The integration wil help converting regular video output from AV devices into IP video

LILIN, IP video experts, are preparing to collaborate with signagelive at IFSEC to deliver a cloud-powered media solution to every visitor to their stand this year. signagelive are specialists in digital signage providing electronic displays that allow adverts, messages and information to be communicated to the audience via a network.  By using a network, messages can be updated automatically through data fed from Internet sources such as RSS feeds, adding benefits for the client.

This alliance will see signage solutions being demonstrated at LILIN’s prime international exhibition next month. Part of the LILIN stand at IFSEC will be dedicated to a large video wall, displaying an assortment of media videos, live video streams and prerecorded videos from LILIN’s HD camera range. Visitors will benefit, as they will be able to see a combination of actual footage and informative descriptions on a continuous reel.  Equally, signagelive are excited to be integrating LILIN’s encoders that will convert regular video output from AV devices such as satellite receivers and DVD players into IP video, and will be incorporated within the signagelive application across the network. The encoders will convert video feeds which will be seen by visitors at Screen Media Expo between the 16th – 17th May 2012, at London’s Earls Court.

Having explored converged opportunities in different markets, LILIN recognised the potential of IP video in this sector. LILIN encoders can effectively distribute video through digital signage monitors and the HD IP cameras can deliver live footage to front of store monitors for retail applications. Consequently, there is significant potential for LILIN and digital signage going forward.

Exploring the opportunities of digital signage is just one of the ways LILIN are looking to ensure multiple sectors benefit from high quality and professional video solutions.
