LILIN converted the analogue system to IP to maintain a safe and secure environment and ensure that processes are in order |
The brief
The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia is one of the main revenue collecting agencies of the Ministry of Finance for the Malaysian government. The purpose of the CCTV system installed is to monitor the surroundings of the building as citizens visit the department to pay their taxes.
The building should be monitored closely in order to maintain a safe, secure environment, and to make sure that the processes are in order.
The challenge
Both the analogue and digital system are combined and connected through a long-distance fibre optic backbone. LILIN completed the task by converting the analogue system to IP using H.264 encoders.
The solution
Weather resistant analogue cameras were installed as well as day and night varifocal IR IP cameras and indoor day and night super high resolution fast dome cameras, which surround the whole building.
The analogue cameras are equipped with video encoders in order to send digital signals which will be transmitted through long distance fibre optics transmissions back to the control room and controlled by keyboard for security monitoring purposes. All the equipment is protected by surge arrestors for better performance.
The result
All activities can be clearly monitored at a control room which is easily accessible by the administrative department using LILIN NVR software.
The system installed:
Day & Night Varifocal IR IP Camera (IPR458XSP) * 23
Indoor Day & Night Super High Res. Fast Dome Camera (PIH7622DHPF) * 2
Weather Resistant Colour Camera (CMW124X2.2P) * 79
Video Encoder (VS012) * 81
1 Keyboard Controller (PIH800III)
