Cook will assume responsibility for the North American headquarters in Arcadia

LILIN North America, the US entity of IP video provider, LILIN, recently named Joe Cook to the position of Vice President/General Manager of its North American operations. Cook will assume responsibility for the North American headquarters in Arcadia, California, including support and oversight of strategic direction, goals and growth objectives.

A veteran of the video surveillance and IP video technology industries, Cook is an experienced professional with a history of management and marketing excellence in commercial, government and large OEM accounts. He joins LILIN from Moxa America where had served as Business Development Manager for its IP video unit. Prior to this, Cook was National Sales Manager with machine vision leader IDS Imaging Systems and Vice President of Sales with Toshiba Teli America, Inc. He also held the title of Sales Manager of Government & Enterprise Sales for Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. in its IP Video Products Group.

Commenting on his appointment, Cook said: “I am pleased to join Merit LILIN USA Corp. who does in house design, engineering and manufacturing. In today’s fast paced market, it is important to have the ability to provide high quality products and with being a true manufacturer, LILIN has control over the specifications and has the flexibility to meet market demands.”

Jason Hill, LILIN’s Group Vice President, commented, “Joe’s appointment as a VP/GM to our North American business unit is key to our ongoing expansion into the United States, Canada and Mexico. He brings 20 years of knowledge and market experience with him, and this will be invaluable to our partners and customers."
