ISONAS Inc., a leading pure IP access control system manufacturer, is proud to announce winning the Integration of the Year 2014 award from Milestone Systems at the recent (Milestone Integration Platform Symposium) MIPS 2015 event in Las Vegas. ISONAS was chosen based on its dedication to the Milestone integration and selected from over 100 Milestone integrated partners to receive this award. ISONAS and Milestone have joined forces to deliver an award-winning integrated video and access control solution that is dominating the security industry.
During the MIPS two-day event, Rob Mossman, CEO of ISONAS, presented to Milestone’s customers and partners on the latest trends in the security market and how the “Internet of Things” is driving expectations and shaping requirements for everyone in all markets. “This means that the user experience is King. How we interface with technology is changing around us. How we implement and migrate into technology have expectations set outside of our little businesses. We must be open. We must build to expectations set by a world defined by our iPhones.” said Mossman.
Last year more than 50% of the video surveillance cameras in the North American market were IP cameras. As the world continues to change, there is a need to see events that occur as well as control how they happen. Now that there is an installed base of IP architecture, users expect their access control to do things like their cameras; operate at the edge and eliminate the need for separate power drops. This allows customers to simply add access control to their Milestone video management software on the front end with access control to do the ‘heavy lifting’ behind the scenes.
