Security industry job search tools allow the user to find both security businesses and security job openings

The Electronic Security Association (ESA), the largest trade association representing the electronic life safety and security industry, features two new job search pages on its new GetIntoSecurity.com website. These powerful, highly interactive security industry job search tools allow the user to find both security businesses and security job openings in their area. GetIntoSecurity.com is the first website devoted exclusively to careers in today’s fast-growing, dynamic and technologically advanced electronic security industry.

User friendly features

In the “Resources” section of the GetIntoSecurity.com website, users can click on “Find a Security Company in Your Area” and access a page on Alarm.org, ESA’s consumer facing site. This page pinpoints ESA member companies within a selected distance from an address or zip code, and lets users search for companies both by Customer Type (commercial, government, industrial, etc.) and Service Type (video surveillance, two-way voice, intrusion alarm, etc.).  Managed by Alarm.org and powered by ESA, this page helps users locate local security businesses that may be hiring today, or in the future.

The “Security Industry Recruiting Center” page, also accessed from the “Resources” section on GetIntoSecurity.com, is the premier recruiting resource for the electronic security industry. This page lets users find great security jobs in their own backyard with hundreds of job listings ranging from installation and service to home automation consultation, account management, software engineering, sales and marketing, customer service and more. Search by job type, keyword and location. This page also lets you store and post your resume and cover letters.

In addition to these two job finding sections, GetIntoSecurity.com features a career spotlight section that lets users match their skills to job titles like home automation consultant, calibration software engineer, security sales, technical support rep, security technician, retention representative and others.  The site also includes video testimonials from successful security professionals, a resources section for job hunters, a resources section for career and guidance counselors, and descriptions of the types of security industry jobs available to students, military veterans, retirees, and people seeking "new beginnings."
