Samsung Techwin America is reaffirming the goals of their Vision 2010 strategic business initiative to firmly establish Samsung as a comprehensive supplier of security systems including video surveillance and access control. In addition to highlighting its broad line of megapixel, IP-based and analogue video systems at ASIS 2010, the company is introducing several new video products and unveiling an extensive new access control product line.

Samsung's new access control offerings provide professional-level system solutions which span a wide range of technologies including fingerprint, proximity/smart cards and keypads. On the video side, introductions include megapixel cameras, IP-based network cameras, analogue cameras and DVRs/NVRs.

Samsung's in-booth presentation at ASIS 2010 will highlight the unified Samsung platform that integrates video and access control solutions from Samsung with technology from other leading providers to deliver new levels of intelligent operation. To meet these goals, Samsung is actively working toward industry standardisation with organisations such as ONVIF and PSIA. The booth presentation will also focus on how Samsung's products are used in the government, corporate, transportation, education and healthcare markets.

"We deliver the best performance and value proposition by capitalising on all the resources Samsung offers as a global force in the electronic security industry," said Frank DeFina, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, North America, Samsung Techwin America. "The new solutions we are showing here at ASIS is just the beginning, and we will continue to build on this business initiative moving forward."
