Optelecom-NKF, Inc., a leading global supplier of advanced video surveillance equipment and the manufacturer of Siqura surveillance solutions, announced its intention to participate in the IFSEC 2010 tradeshow as a key sponsor.
As visitors traverse the various booths at the IFSEC tradeshow this year in Birmingham, UK, they might very well notice that Optelecom-NKF's Siqura surveillance solutions display something unique among the diverse exhibits. Software for supervising your surveillance system:
For example, Optelecom-NKF will put its two new video content analysis (VCA) applications on display. Each of these VCA programs has recently been integrated into the Siqura S-64 E video server and checks the status or well-being of the attached camera by monitoring the camera's position and image quality. When something is amiss, the applications trigger an alarm to promptly alert operators, thereby guaranteeing quality video material while at the same time reducing unnecessary maintenance costs.

The first ever AID video server:
The now well-known and award-winning Siqura TrafficServer will also be on exhibit. This innovative product is the first video server ever to be integrated with automatic incident detection (AID) technology.
Customised solutions:
Optelecom-NKF will also demonstrate its video server box, a robust H.264 encoding solution that was developed last year to meet the stringent electrical, mechanical, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements of EN 50155, requisites which were needed for a major national railway surveillance project.
Innovative fibre optic IP dome:
Optelecom-NKF will also offer a preview of its PTZ IP dome camera that includes a flexible SFP interface for directly connecting to a fibre optic network. The Siqura fibre optic IP dome will be released in the summer of 2010.
High-definition ONVIF compliant box camera:
Optelecom-NKF will also show its first ONVIF-compliant, high-definition camera (with 720p and 1080p versions), which will be released this coming summer.
