DSC, a brand of Tyco Security Products, introduced the new PowerSeries TouchScreen keypad, designed for PowerSeries control panels, which delivers an easy and interactive way to manage and control security systems.

The full-colour, 7-inch PowerSeries TouchScreen offers an intuitive, menu-driven interface and a wide range of functionality for both homeowners and installers. The responsive, high-resolution screen offers installers easy access to full programming on the PowerSeries TouchScreen as well as from a virtual keypad. With up to 8 partitions available, the PowerSeries TouchScreen offers the benefits of a multi-partition control panel without changing the control panel and lets each partition zone act independently from the rest of the system.

With customisable home screens that can display the most commonly used functions, installers can quickly set up the PowerSeries TouchScreen based on the homeowners’ important functions as well as display logos, contact information and pictures in the background. Homeowners can rely on the LED status indicators for system functions such as Ready, Armed, Trouble and AC Power for a quick-view visual check on the status of the system.

Featuring an integrated digital picture frame, homeowners can display photos as a single photo or timed slideshow, and update the photos on the PowerSeries TouchScreen with a standard SD card.  The sleek profile and contemporary design of the PowerSeries TouchScreen blends into any décor and is available in white and silver.
