The DV-IP NVx range of dedicated network appliances provide a flexible configuration solution |
Dedicated Micros - part of the AD Group of companies – bring its NVx dedicated network appliances to their IP video portfolio providing a superior, tiered storage architecture, corporate network security and total redundancy. The dedicated network appliance approach is preferred by integrators and users who have been disappointed by the high recurring licence costs and lack of reliability of over complex non secure IP Camera/”Software” VMS/COTS IP video storage solutions.
The DV-IP NVx range of dedicated network appliances provide a flexible configuration solution operating as either a real-time HD/hybrid multi-screen decoder for high performance video wall deployment or as a dedicated real time encoder for recording and transmission of both analogue and HD IP cameras.
New to the NVx's is a SQL based database capability which operates the powerful embedded VMS enabling the mass configuration of 100s+ camera systems which require “matrix” style camera grouping and logical numbering.
Dedicated Micros and DM Network Video's Cloud NVR/NVx architecture provides a single IP address gateway and proxy server secure access to any camera on the system without any compromise to the Corporate network
The new CamVu 720 D/N WDR HD IP cameras and domes and the new 360 degree IP camera on show at IFSEC, complement a growing portfolio of IP Cameras from Dedicated Micros which work as self contained servers with integrated camera recording. This approach enables a completely fail safe redundant storage architecture when the cameras are deployed with the new Network and Storage Conrtoller - from the new DM Network Video arm of Dedicated Micros - near side USB or eSATA storage and network based iSCSI SAN storage creating a Cloud NVR solution.
Strategic partner, BBV's Pick-a-Point video management system forms part of the enterprise video management system, which offers a user friendly, map based touch screen workstation, scalable to large enterprise solutions. Compatible with NetVu Connected video products, Pick-a-Point provides seamless management of hybrid systems incorporating crucial security features such as alarm handling, video download and evidence burning, integration with 3rd parties such as GDX, Protec and Commend.
Pauline Norstrom, Marketing Director and Board Director for Dedicated Micros and AD Group, comments, “Many users have been disappointed with other ubiquitous IP cameras deployed in a complex, unreliable and expensive way, incurring recurring licence costs which increase the total cost of ownership. Users demand robust, fail-safe solutions which are easy to manage through a single IP address gateway and that's exactly what Dedicated Micros has to offer through its DM Network Video certified integrator programme. Exclusive products such as the Network and storage controller and NVR Media Server form part of this redundant architecture together with the NVx range of dedicated network appliances and HD IP cameras with integrated camera recording”
The Nvx, Network and Storage Controller, CamVu IP cameras and Pick-a-Point control solution can be seen on stand E10, Hall 4, at IFSEC 2012.
