Dedicated Micros has introduced a special UK promotion which means that installers who buy SD Range DVR are now eligible to receive a free ICED-HyperDome at the point of purchaseDedicated Micros - part of AD Group - has introduced a special UK promotion which means that installers who buy any 8, 12 or 16 channel SD Range DVR are now eligible to receive a free ICED-HyperDome at the point of purchase, with two free HyperDomes available to those who opt for a 32-channel model.

Designed to celebrate the continued manufacture of the popular ICE camera and mini-dome range, the promotion focuses on one of its standout lines, the award-winning ICED-HyperDome.  Its built-in HyperD sensor technology produces optimised images in areas of high lighting contrast.  This capability ensures that individuals can be readily identified instead of just producing a silhouette image of a target.  Typical installations include; front entrances to retail, finance and fast-food stores, entrance/reception areas at schools and commercial premises.

The latest feature-rich SD Range, covered in the promotion, is setting new standards for DVRs in the mid-range CCTV market, featuring ‘Normal, Medium and Low' default recording settings for consistent recording performance per camera - regardless of the number of cameras - and easy to use selectable storage configurations.  Another advance with the SD Range is that selected models are Analytics Capable.  Dedicated Micros - ICED-HyperDome cameraAnalytics packages are available through a simple software and hardware licence upgrade.

Said Pauline Norstrom, Worldwide Head of Marketing at Dedicated Micros: "This major promotion for UK installers underlines our commitment to the ICE camera and mini-dome range and allows customers to combine our new SD Range DVR at no extra cost with the proven benefits of the ICED-HyperDome, particularly in challenging lighting environments."

The ICED-HyperDome/SD Range promotion applies to purchases made by UK customers from 5 May 2008 until 31 November 2008.  Installers should contact their usual distribution partners for more details.
