The new Dortronics 3412 Series Drop-Bolt Locks provide a heavy duty and reliable locking solution for single or double acting in swing or outswing doors – including Herculite frameless glass doors. The unit’s unique automatic alignment sensor simplifies installation and helps ensure the lock works flawlessly.
“Installers don’t have the time to spend hours aligning or re-aligning drop bolts to ensure precise engagement of the lock,” said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems, Inc. “The new 3400 Series of drop bolt locks resolves this and other typical installation issues with smart features such as intelligent circuitry and variable timed relock.”
The 3412 Series Drop-Bolt Locks include a unique intelligent logic circuit that keeps the drop-bolt retracted until the door has been closed and is properly aligned to assure engagement of the lock bolt. The design also features a fully adjustable mechanical alignment to compensate for excessive door gap – up to 3/16” wide. A time delayed relock that is field selectable for up to nine seconds and low current draw round out the list of convenient features.
