The camera delivers superb image quality around the clock and unparalleled visibility under highly contrasted lighting environments

Secutech Excellence Award was bestowed on Ultra-Megapixel fisheye network cameras FE8391-V

VIVOTEK is honored to announce the winning of Secutech Excellence Award 2015 at Secutech Taipei 2015, the international exhibition and conference for electronic security, info security, fire, and safety held in Taipei from the 28th to the 30th of April, 2015. This year, the award was bestowed on the new Ultra-Megapixel fisheye network cameras FE8391-V. VIVOTEK has won the Excellence Award at Secutech Taipei for the past five consecutive years.

In 2015, UHD IP Camera (3/5/8Megapixel & 4K IP Camera), Panorama IP Camera (2+Megapixel Panorama IP Camera) and Network Video Recorder are the key focuses of the competition. The evaluation criteria include the HD performance, low light feature, compression capability, video latency, and the intelligent functions.

World’s first Ultra-Megapixel fisheye with IR illumination

VIVOTEK’s FE8391-V is uniquely equipped with a 12MP CMOS sensor and built-in IR LEDs, making this model the world’s first Ultra-Megapixel fisheye with IR illumination. With 180° panoramic (wall mount) or 360° surround viewing angle (ceiling/floor mount), the FE8391-V is perfectly ideal for wide, open areas surveillance, such as airports, shopping malls, parking lots, retail stores, and offices. Designed with a removable IR-cut filter and WDR Enhancement technology, the camera delivers superb image quality around the clock and unparalleled visibility under highly contrasted lighting environments. More uniquely, the built-in IR LEDs and patent-protected light cup enables FE8391-V to provide uniformly and even 360° surround illumination for clear viewing up to distances of 10 metres, even in completely dark environments.

Owen Chen, Chairman, VIVOTEK indicated, "I would like to thank Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd and the honorable judges for their continuous supports and affirmation. VIVOTEK will keep holding the strong commitment to delivering high quality products and outstanding surveillance solutions.”
