Dedicated Micros - part of AD Group - has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Security Partnering Initiative category of the Security Excellence Awards 2007 for its landmark DM Fusion installer partnership programme, with the final result due to be announced on 10 October at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.

DM Fusion, which was unveiled in May, is designed to deliver enhanced back-up and support to key security professionals and installers across the UK and Ireland, whether it be planning a system to specifying and tendering, through installation and on-going maintenance.

Moving forward, installers who sign-up for DM Fusion - in return for an agreed commitment - will be able to unlock a number of key benefits.  These include: a dedicated account manager to act as a central point of contact - simplifying all interaction with Dedicated Micros, priority access to the company's demonstration teams, discounts on demonstration stock, enhanced technical support, tailored technical and sales training and a collect and return repairs policy.

Said Carol Cope, Partnership Manager at Dedicated Micros: "We are extremely pleased that the DM Fusion programme is in contention for this prestigious award.  Much time and effort has gone in to bringing DM Fusion to market and prior to the official launch we spent over six months working closely with installers to refine our offering.  Throughout, the emphasis has been very much on concrete building blocks rather than unsustainable gimmicks.  Crucially, the feedback we have had to date has been very positive.  Already a number of major installers have signed-up for the scheme - with more in the pipeline - and the number of visits to the DM Fusion website has also been impressive, with the total now more than 3,500 since it went 'live'."
