SMI's Mobile Identification and Verification software
Smart Media Innovations received Lenel factory certification for it's Mobile Identification and Verification software products

UK based Smart Media Innovations (SMI)has gained factory certification from Lenel for it's Mobile Identification and Verification software products and has become a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.

The products were tested and certified using Datastrip's DSVII-SC mobile terminal. The products allow specific cardholder information contained within the OnGuard database to be displayed and verified at remote entry points or other areas where the infrastructure is not available, or desired, for standard fixed card reader deployment. Support is offered for a wide range of access control card types - iCLASS, Proximity, MiFare DESFIRE, barcode and magstripe.

End user applications for the system range from Oil and Gas installations to Construction, Ports, Airports and Schools.

The products will be distributed in the USA and Middle East by Datastrip.

"SMI has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program," said Raffaele Ceravolo, director of strategic alliances for Lenel.
