Part of this training will include case studies and featured exercises based on a QSDC methodology—developed by Datacard Group
The panel of Datacard Group experts will discuss the identity and global landscape of the markets

Datacard Group and Entrust Inc., leaders in securing identities and safeguarding transactions in both physical and digital environments will be presenting trends, technologies and best practices for secure documents and identity programs. This event is being hosted by the Vice President’s office in Nicaragua.

This full-day seminar is being held today and will include attendees from many government agencies throughout Nicaragua. The panel of Datacard Group and Entrust experts will discuss the identity and global landscape of the markets, and how organisations can stay current with the rapidly evolving standards, regulations and secure technologies shaping the industry. They will also be sharing world changes and trends in the e-Passport, National ID and driver’s license markets, as well as eID and mobile applications.

“We are honoured to be invited to present our interactive workshop to Nicaraguan government officials,” said Zeca Pires, director of government business for Latin America and the Caribbean.  “Our combined expertise and knowledge of the panel will provide attendees with in-depth market intelligence on e-government technologies and best practices, how to establish trusted identities with lifecycle management, as well as technologies that will help secure document design, issuance and personalisation.”

Part of this training will include case studies and featured exercises based on a Quality, Security, Durability and Cost (QSDC) methodology—developed by Datacard Group—that helps agencies understand the relationships and trade-offs between critical aspects of any identity credential program. Additionally, the group will discuss how specialised card personalisation techniques and technologies can reduce counterfeiting and forgery by utilising Security at Time of Personalization™ – a practice that employs variable data and overt features to increase overall program security.
