The agreement will allow Databac to respond competitively to demand for professional yet affordable card printers
The Javelin card printers offer exceptional performance for low initial investment

ID specialist Databac Group has entered into an agreement with NBS Technologies to promote, distribute and support its Javelin range of card printers in Spain. The agreement will allow Databac to respond competitively to demand for professional yet affordable card printers, while helping NBS increase its penetration in the region.

Bob Gwyn, EMEA sales manager for Javelin, says: “The agreement is a great opportunity to increase our stronghold in Spain. Databac offers a ready route into this territory and its own market intelligence indicates the time is right for Javelin to step up marketing in this region.”

Databac managing director Charles Balcomb agrees. “Javelin printers are well-built and well-priced for today’s market. We are confident this range will prove very popular in Spain. The local economy means that businesses and institutions are crying out for card printing solutions that don’t break the bank, but don’t compromise on quality either. The Javelin range offers them exactly that.”

Javelin printers offer exceptional performance for a relatively low initial investment, with easy options to upgrade. The range includes two basic models – manual feed and auto+manual feed – that can be enhanced with a range of card encoders, including magnetic stripe, contact and contactless. The printers are single- or double-sided and can feature both USB and Ethernet connectivity.

A two-year warranty will be offered as standard, along with Databac’s own ID software Dataimage Lite, free of charge.

As a card manufacturer, Databac is able to provide a range of cards to meet different budgets and requirements. TOUGH card, Databac’s flagship, all-polyester card, offers a durable option designed to withstand wear and tear. Databac’s DuraCard combines the flexibility and durability of polyester with the cost-effectiveness of PVC. Databac can incorporate a number of technologies including contact and contactless chip, to enable the cards to work with existing access control and other systems.
