The exhibition will showcase multi-sensor system Panomera® and the Full-HDTV cameras of the new 4910 series
The Sicur exhibition will be held between 28 February-2 March 2012 in Madrid, Spain

From 28 February until 2 March 2012, Dallmeier will be represented, for the first time with their own stand, at the SICUR exhibition in Madrid, Spain. Special highlights will be the multi-sensor system Panomera® and the Full-HDTV cameras of the new 4910 series.

Multi-sensor system Panomera®

The award-winning and much-lauded multi-sensor system Panomera® was specially developed for the all-encompassing video surveillance of expansive areas.

With Panomera®, huge widths, as well as areas with large distances can be displayed with a completely new resolution quality (up to 85 megapixels). This can be done in real time and with high frame rates of up to 30 fps. In so doing, Panomera far surpasses the HD 1080p standard, redefining the often heard term "high resolution". The "Panomera® effect" begins where conventional HD and megapixel cameras reach their limits.

With Panomera®, a huge area can be surveyed from a single location in a highly efficient manner. The system impresses with the unique combination of an overall view with simultaneous high detail resolution: even objects that are farther away can be displayed with the same resolution as objects in the foreground of the picture. Another decisive advantage is the cost-efficiency of the system: where previously several HD cameras had to be installed, a single Panomera® system is now enough - which also means only one installation site is necessary. Since fewer camera installation locations are needed, the requirements for the infrastructure (masts, cables, electricity, etc.) are substantially lower, along with expenditures for servicing and maintenance.

New Full-HD camera series 4910

The new IP network cameras of the 4910 series provide real-time Full High-Definition video (1080p/30) and image resolutions up to 5-megapixel depending on the model, using the H.264 codec that is currently the most sophisticated standard for high-efficiency video compression. Besides a comprehensive set of automatic and manual image optimization functions and many other setting options, the DN series additionally features automatic Day/Night operation supported by integrated ambient light sensing and a removable IR cut filter (ICR). All HD cameras of the 4910 series can be conveniently powered via PoE which allows for an easy, quick and cost-effective installation.

A special highlight is the DF4910HD-DN/IR, a weather-proof HD box camera with integrated IR lighting. Semi-covert 850 nm high power LEDs allow for an IR illumination range of up to approx. 25 meters with a beam angle up to approx. 50 degrees. The fast (large maximum aperture) and motor-driven megapixel varifocal lens (F1.0 / 2.8 - 11 mm) which allows to adjust the focal length and the focus conveniently via web browser ensures a convenient and straightforward installation process of the IR camera. Opening the camera housing for adjusting the lens is no longer necessary.
