Tradition and technology came together at the offices of Dallmeier electronic in Pucklechurch, Bristol recently where Dallmeier hosted an Open Day in conjunction with The National Trust.  The event was arranged for The National Trust and its installers along with representatives from other similar organisations such as Museums and Heritage.

Jason Piggott from Dallmeier electronic said "The National Trust has been using Dallmeier electronic digital recording and camera products for some time now and it was seen as the right time to introduce them, their specifiers and installers to the latest technology that Dallmeier electronic has developed".

The solutions presented included the new DMS240Leonardo' hybrid digital recorder, which was recently launched at IFSEC in May.  The DMS240 uses the very latest H.264 compression technology that provides extremely high quality images while using minimum hard disk space.  Complementing this was Dallmeier's ‘CCTV in the palm of your hand' solution; this new connectivity software delivers live and recorded images direct to your PDA over GPRS/ Wireless LAN.

Also on show were Dallmeier electronic's ranges of Intelligent Video Analysis and Motion Detection products, the DI-Detector and DVS600.  The main modules on show were the Static Object Module, which alerts and records when objects are removed or placed within a scene, People Counting, ANPR and motion detection that includes object classification technology.

The DF2000A / DF3000A camera and DF3000 IP camera technology were also on show to complete the full system capability that Dallmeier electronic now offers.

Dominic Pearson from The National Trust commented, "The event was a real success and everybody enjoyed the day which was informative but not too technical. It has already given us ideas of how we would like to progress further with Dallmeier products in the future."
