Smatrix: VideoIP appliance for video surveillance

The Smatrix from Dallmeier is a VideoIP appliance with integrated storage system, which is perfectly tailored to the needs of video security technology. Whether used with only network cameras in a purely IP environment or in hybrid operation together with analogue cameras - the Smatrix is flexible and supports the newest HDTV technologies. The Smatrix stands out due to its space-saving structure as well as low power consumption and heat emissions. That helps the environment and saves costs: in comparison to standard DVR/NVR devices it saves on average €30,000 within five years. The Smatrix is optimally adapted to applications which require a high recording speed, enhanced storage capacity and low power consumption whilst providing maximum security.

HD megapixel cameras: Cam_inPIX® technology for the best picture quality

The Dallmeier HD megapixel cameras stand out due to their excellent picture quality. The 4500 series as well as the 4900 camera series are equipped with a 1/2.5" 5 megapixel CMOS image sensor with Cam_inPIX® technology. This image processing technology developed by Dallmeier itself, whereby the picture information of every single pixel is digitally converted at the point of capture and is processed in the most optimal way, makes it possible to record clear, high-contrast and colour true pictures even in difficult lighting conditions. Digital noise reduction as well as numerous control functions like AWB, AGC or slow shutter, make further optimisation of the picture quality possible. Like all Dallmeier IP cameras, the 4500 and 4900 camera series are ONVIF compatible. Last but not least, the HD megapixel cameras are convincing due to their outstanding price- performance ratio.
