Brand new surveillance technologies from Dallmeier to be showcased at Security Essen 2010
Smatrix is ideally suited for the joint operation of analogue and IP cameras
New hall, new highlights! During this year's Security, which runs from the 5th to the 8th of October in Essen, Germany, Dallmeier will for the first time be exhibiting in hall 3 (stand 805). The company will present network-based video security technology from one source and ideally adjusted VideoIP solutions for any area, ranging from private homes to international large-scale projects. Special highlights at the Security will be the new HD megapixel cameras, the Smatrix devices and the VideoNetBox.

HD megapixel cameras

The new megapixel high-definition camera series 4500 and 4900 are ideal entry-level models into the HD world. They do not only convince through their price-performance ratio but also through numerous technical highlights such as simultaneous dual or tri-streaming (H.264, MJPEG), integrated motion detection with selectable sensitivity and a high light sensitivity (1.6 lux at F1.0. 50IRE). The 4500 series, which is available as box camera variant DF4500HD and as vandalism-protected dome camera variant DDF4500HDV, comprises 2 megapixel HD cameras that support both SD as well as HD resolutions (720p, 2MP). The 4900 series, which also comprises a box and a dome camera model, further supports resolutions of up to 1080p, 3MP.

Smatrix

Small, smart, green: This is how Dallmeier's new VideoIP matrix with integrated storage system presents itself. Small, because with just two height units (2 HU) the Smatrix offers space for 16 channels. Those can be freely configured, which is why the Smatrix is ideally suited for the joint operation of analogue and IP cameras (hybrid appliance). Smart, because despite its small size, it convinces through highest performance capabilities and reliability. And green, because owing to its low power consumption and longevity the Smatrix perfectly integrates into the Green Global Security philosophy of the company. Therefore, the Smatrix devices are ideally suited for applications that require a high recording speed, expanded storage capacity and low power consumption while providing maximum security.

VideoNetBox

Although only recently launched, the VideoNetBox has become a downright cult product. The compact IT recording server offers full functionality within a small housing; recording, transmission and evaluation. Through individual configuration options the user gets exactly the VideoNetBox he needs, one that is perfectly adjusted to his individual requirements and network, whether it is purely IP (SD, HD, up to 8 MP) or hybrid in joint operation with analogue cameras. Particularly practical: Through its compact and sophisticated design the VNB is flexible and can be mounted almost anywhere (e.g. walls) and is also suited for temporary applications, for example at construction sites, in branches etc.
