Dallmeier will be present at Intersec 2008 in Dubai from 13th to 15th January 2008.Between 13th and 15th January 2008, Intersec in Dubai - the largest Security, Fire, Safety & Health and Police & Homeland Security Exhibition in the Middle East - will open its doors.  With a new stand design, Dallmeier will be present at the show again in Hall 1, stand 3101C.

Under the theme "CCTV/IP security solutions: diversity and integration", Dallmeier will show its complete product range: box and dome cameras, DVRs and the full scope of Dallmeier's analysis and management software.

This year's highlights:

Cameras with Cam_inPIX® technology

With Cam_inPIX®, Dallmeier is setting new standards in the field of video camera technology for security applications.  The innovative sensor concept of Cam_inPIX® technology is based on the most up-to-date "Digital Pixel System® (DPS)" platform.  With this technology, the picture information of each individual pixel is converted digitally at the point of capture and processed in the most optimal way.  Therefore, even conditions with a great range in contrast can be recorded and documented in previously unseen picture quality.

The comprehensive range of cameras includes high-resolution box and dome cameras and comprises both analogue as well as network cameras, which are always customised and optimised to the respective applications.

With the world's first high-performance UWDR Picodome® DDF3000APV with Cam_inPIX® technology Dallmeier inspires its customers and industry experts likewise.  With a housing diameter of just 80mm (IP 66) and a dome cover measuring just 57mm, the Picodome® offers a highly discreet security solution.  But its small size is not its only advantage.  Thanks to the Cam_inPIX® DPS technology, the Picodome® delivers a picture quality normally only achieved with much larger cameras.

As another highlight we will present the DDZ3032SA "Panther", the first PTZ colour dome with the Cam_inPIX® technology.  With the "Panther", Dallmeier developed an Ultra Wide Dynamic PTZ dome that was specially designed for the highest demands in CCTV/IP and that uses the latest Cam_inPIX® technology.

Dallmeier Video Management Centre (VMC)

With the new Video Management Centre, Dallmeier is revolutionising the market for video management hardware.  In close cooperation with experienced users from the security industry and as a result of practice-oriented product research, a top-class Video Management Centre has been developed which by far surpasses the performance of standard, industrially-manufactured keyboards.

The Video Management Centre is modular and thus flexible in its structure.  The individual components, whether the keypad, the joystick or the Jog-Shuttle, may be positioned according to individual preferences and are therefore equally well-suited for both left- and right-handers.  It is the user's choice to decide which hand he or she wishes to use for operating which component.  Moreover, it is also possible to use the individual components as freely programmable stand-alone devices.  The positioning of the control keys directly around the joystick or the Jog-Shuttle respectively is particularly user-friendly because the groups of keys almost automatically guide the fingers during operation.

Also, the Dallmeier Video Management Centre VMC, as the first of its kind, features an interactive 6" LCD TFT monitor (640 x 480 pixels) which allows for the display of live pictures as well as recorded footage.  Sophisticated ergonomics and a classic, timeless design allow for durable and efficient operation.  Product designers analysed the typical motion patterns of security operators during months of field tests.  The lessons learned were then directly incorporated in the development of the product, from which a man-machine interface was developed which guarantees the highest possible user-friendliness.
